Chamber Ensemble
During the holidays, we are holding Chamber Ensemble Workshops with Daniel Tagiev!
These chamber music workshops are designed to teach students to play as a group and learn to listen to the other parts aside from there own. It’s a great chance to learn more challenging repertoire and my workshops focus heavily on improving intonation, sound production and musicality.
I encourage those who are currently playing in school ensembles, outside of school ensembles and especially those not involved to get started as it will certainly improve your skills as a violin player.
Note: The workshop will only go ahead if enough students enroll. If the class is cancelled, all enrolled students will receive a full refund.
Daniel began his violin lessons at the age of six with his father, Emin Tagiev, a reputable violinist and teacher. Daniel received his first prize – the Young Talent Award – at the tender age of 8, which was presented to him by Alan Smith, associate Concertmaster of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
Daniel undertook his tertiary studies with Michele Walsh at the Griffith conservatorium of music in Brisbane before completing them at Melbourne University under the guidance of Mark Mogilevski.
