Ev Ramadan

Ev Ramadan has recently graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium under the tutelage of former principal flute of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and renowned teacher, Virginia Taylor. In 2017, Ev received their A.Mus.A in Flute Performance with Distinction with the AMEB. Ev is a flexible teacher, having taught privately and as a group tutor at the Young Music Society Summer Music School. While teaching, Ev aims to share a love of the flute and music-making, and celebrates the unique talents of every student, particularly enjoying helping students finally be able to do something that didn’t come easily to them.
As a performer, Ev enjoys performances in many kinds of ensembles, having previously played principal flute and piccolo in the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra, won the Ensemble section in the Australasian Double Reed Society National Competition 2019 with the Giocoso Wind Trio, and has been a mentee with Ensemble Q. Ev has also premiered various new works at the conservatorium, including performances on piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute.
