Simonne Berriman

Dip. Music Studies (Vocal Pedagogy)

Simonne Berriman completed her graduate diploma of Music Studies (vocal pedagogy) in 2016 from Griffith Conservatorium.

She has been teaching singing for contemporary commercial styles for 9 years now.

Simonne has been singing in public since she was twelve years old, after being spotted by talent company in the UK, as a result Simonne started to perform across Essex. It was during this time that she also began Session work, at thirteen she was recording backing vocals for an international backing track company.  At Fourteen she recorded three tracks with UK electronic dance band, The Prodigy on their album. Simonne went on to work with other UK producers, including record label Sony Records, where she worked with Stock and Aitken formerly 1980’s hit machine Stock Aitken and Waterman.  Simonne has sung in function bands and as a soloist in the UK and Australia, she has wrote and produced her own songs and sang on board ships.

Simonne also has a background in the Disability sector and and has mentored and developed singing group “The Mercy Divas” which performed across Brisbane. Prior to this Simonne has also worked as an early childhood music teacher.  As well as teaching singing,  Simonne is currently a leisure and lifestyle facilitator in aged care, where she has the opportunity to use her musical skills to assist the diverse needs of those in care.

Simonne offers a wealth of practical experience for any one wanting to develop themselves as a singer.  Whether you want to improve for your own self confidence, sing at the local karaoke or develop professionally, Simonne will assist you to develop the skills and confidence you will need for your craft.
