Zalina attained her Trinity Grade 8 in Voice by age 17 and went on to further her studies in various singing styles under some of the best vocal teachers in the region.

She made the transition from Classical singing to Jazz while studying in the International College Of Music (Malaysia) and hasn’t looked back since.

She has taught every level of singing enthusiast - from casual singers looking to improve their singing, to Vocal majors at Sedaya University in Malaysia - for almost 20 years in total. She has also vocal coached multiple choirs, musical ensembles and leads over the past decade as well as taught a cappella workshops in Singapore and Hong Kong as a member of Singaporean-based a cappella group Urban Harmony.

She enjoys coming across each new voice she encounters as well as getting to understand the person behind that voice. While she will always drill you in technique first and foremost, she loves finding new ways to express one’s musicality via the vocal instrument.
